Steering Issues Halts Joel Doironís Qualifying Efforts at Mohawk International Raceway on Saturday Night; Brockvilleís Fall Nationals Will End 2013 Season

Joel Doiron and his 358 Modified team arrived at Mohawk International
Raceway on Saturday night, they were hoping for a solid run in the 100
lap Big Block Modified Super DIRTcar Series event.
Despite the disadvantage with his Small Block against the more
powerful Big Block counterparts, Doiron was hopeful that a dry slick
racing surface would help even the playing field.
posting the seventh fastest speed in his time trial session, Doiron
would start his heat race from that same position.
He was unable to make up any ground, and would have to race his
way into the event from the last chance consolation race.
Doiron was running well, maintaining a transfer spot throughout
the early stages of the 10 lap event, but steering issues would bring
