Joel Doiron Displays 2012 Paint Scheme This Week at Racing Against Drugs Event at Cornwall Armouries; First Race of 2012 Coming up Next Month

The start of the 2012 racing season is just over a month away, and Joel Doiron and his Alexandria, Ontario DIRTcar 358 Modified racing team are looking forward to getting the season underway.  Doiron will have shown off his new colors this week at the Racing Against Drugs event at the Cornwall Armouries this week.  The car is on display now through April 19^th.

This is the 14^th edition of the popular Racing Against Drugs Program.  Over 1100 Grade 6 students from Stormont, Dundas and Glengarry, including the City of Cornwall will take part in this interactive setting and will receive a variety of drug awareness related messages.  In total, there are 12 Pit Stops in which the students are separated into groups.  Each group will take in every pit stop (which has a different message) until they have completed the entire rotation. The 12th stop consists of a slot racetrack where the schools attending compete against each other.
